Caves

Tuscany is a landscape full of beautiful caves to visit.

The Grotta Maona in Montecatini Terme is a millennial natural cave, the only one in Italy who has two wells : from the entrance , go down into the cavity ( depth 20 meters long and 200). After traveling several galleries in an atmosphere similar to what you would expect to find in a representation of Dante's hell , where nature and the waters have year after year designed waterfalls and forests of stalagmites stalactites , you ascend in the light of sun from the second well .

The Grotta del Vento , located in one of the wildest areas of the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps . The name derives from the violent current of air that runs through it , due to the presence of two openings which are situated at different altitudes .
